School is almost out, so we headed up to Oklahoma to watch Mish graduate.

The trip wasn’t too bad. Greg and I left the kiddos with Dad and Angie and went to a cookout with Mom, then went out to a movie.
Just the 2 of us.
For the first time in a year and a half.
It’s too bad we didn’t pick a better movie than “The Hitchiker’s Guide….”. It was either that or “Mother In-Law”.
We have been reading “Little House on the Prairie” series. The kids thought it was cool when we went over the Verdigris River. Laura used to live very close to that river.
On the way back we stopped at various historical markers and took pictures. Some of them we tried to take while the car was still going. I never quite got the timing down right with the camera, so we ended up with many pictures of random houses or pastures. It did help me figure out how to take action shots.
If you don’t have any plans you can stop in Oklahoma and say hello to the crappie anglers.
