As soon as she is out of bed and fully awake, Allison starts talking. and talking….. and talking. If you tell her, “I know.” She will tell you, “No, I know, Mom.” and then keep on talking. This constant talking must be genetic, because Zoey does the same exact thing. When my mom was here this weekend she said I used to be just as bad. Poor her.
Zoey is very good at finding several different ways to say the same exact thing. I know this is going to come in handy when she becomes a teacher. Right now, it could be a secret plot to drive me crazy. This could do wonders for torture techniques.
When we lay down to sleep Allison will keep talking until she thinks that I am asleep (most of the time I really am asleep). Then she will finally quiet down and go to sleep herself.
Zoey and Allison are scheming so that I never have a moment of silence when I am around them. If one is not talking, the other is. There are times when I tell Zoey that my ears need a break. About 2 minutes later I have doubts, because as tiresome as it is now, I don’t really ever want them to stop talking to me.
