Run With The Fishes

Nathan is normally really quiet and soft spoken, to the point where we make him practice using a strong voice. He always follows the rules and just goes along with what his coaches/teachers tell him to do. That’s why it was so surprising last night at baseball practice when we heard Nathan say, “Hey Coach! Can I take a turn pitching?”

Nathan is one of the two 9 year olds on the team. Which means he isn’t as accurate yet (throwing or hitting) as most of the other guys on his team. We could kind of picture his coach chuckle when Nathan asked to pitch. He let Nathan do it though, and that made Nathan’s night.
