It’s been noted before how much Zoey loves school.
Our schools started late today (due to icy roads). When Zoey woke up, there was no “Good Morning. Awesome, I got to sleep in!”. She immediately started crying because she thought we had forgotten to wake her up in time for school.
For the record, we never forget to wake the kids up in time for school.
I have been very fortunate with Ashlynn. At 12 she gets herself up, ready, eats breakfast, and is off to school without even waking us up. Of course she is out of the stage where I don’t have to worry about her doing or wearing something stupid. Or maybe she is scared, I will stand on the front porch when the bus comes by, and wave in my underwear or something.
Yes, and I would have loved to wake mine for school, but it was cancelled. Slept late and that was good, but I’m ready for them to go tomorrow.
