B-ball

The new banner pretty well represents how we will be spending the next month. Solid baseball and softball. As busy as we have been with these sports, you might think I would give some updates. Until now, you would have been incorrect.

Nathan has been moved from catcher to center field. Every once in a while he will swap in as catcher so that the other guy can pitch. I guess he’s alright with that. Greg says he seems pretty happy to not be behind the plate. His team is doing good. When the pitcher is firing, so are the rest of the guys. They have 2 teams that they just can’t seem to beat. There is still over a month left though, so they have plenty of time to beat them later.

Zoey up to bat

Zoey’s team has won almost every game, but like Nathan’s there are two that they just can’t seem to make it past. One team in particular has skunked them everytime, with the score being something like 15-0 and 14-2. You can tell that the other team has been playing together for a while and are really well coached. That all changed last week though. While Zoey’s team didn’t win, they kept the score close with the end being 16-15. They were so excited. One little girl’s grandmother bet her $50 that she couldn’t make a home run. She knocked one out scoring 3 runs in the process. Zoey asked why we didn’t make that kind of deal with her. She would have 150 bucks so far for the season.
