Day Twenty-five – A little reading

366- day twenty-five

Feeling sniffly and reading for the Super Duper Blogger Book Exchange.

Day Twenty-four – Midnight snack

366- day twenty-four

Chocolate milk is probably my most favorite drink in the whole world. I just barely took the photo in time tonight.. I’ve been cutting it close the past few days.

Day Twenty-three – Beads

366- day twenty-three

Beads in a jar on my sewing/craft table.

Guess

You all should take a guess at what this thing is. Greg says it will be fun to see your results. So do it!

Day Twenty-two – Gooey

Five

I was tagged by Amy to do a little meme thing. Sure, it was almost a week ago, but somewhere along the line I fell off of the blogging almost every day wagon and hopefully this will give me a boost back onto it.

Here’s the meme:

Share 5 random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog.

or

Share the 5 top places on your “want to see or want to see again” list.

or

Share 5 things you never pictured being in your future when your were 25 years old.

Tag a minimum of 5, maximum of 10 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog. The tagees have a choice of which they want to do.

See, the only thing is, I don’t really know that five of you would do the meme if I did tag you. So, if you have a blog, you should just totally decide to do this yourself.

Share the 5 top places on your “want to see or want to see again” list. There are so many places I want to go, I don’t know if I can narrow it down to top 5. It probably wouldn’t be right to just put continents, right? Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America.

1. I want to see my abs again. I think the last time I really saw them – not hidden under my love handles- was about five years ago.

Oh, you meant actual places….
2. Ireland – someplace I’ve always wanted to go. Craggy and green. Cliffs and mists. Seems like a pretty magical place.

3. Alaska – Wild. Still places that men haven’t traveled.

4. Japan and China – Not really the same places, but both steeped in history and tradition.

5. New England – It always looks so quaint and peaceful in the pictures.

Day Twenty-one – Tangled

366- Day twenty-one

Allison’s curly hair gets so very tangled. Before brushing, after, and braided. It took me 30 minutes to get the monster tangle out of her hair. I was trying really hard to keep it from hurting. Since I have always had naturally straight, brunette hair, I’m not really sure how to care for the curly blonde kind of hair. We went with the “Little House on the Prairie” style tonight.

Silent Sunday no. 11

First, let us really observe a moment of silence for the two teams cheered for in our house. While it’s not officially over, football season has ended in our house.

Football season is over

We had pudding the other day. I handed Allison the bowl so that she could eat the last bits from it. I didn’t realize she was going to stick her whole face in and lick the bowl. (We were hanging out in Nathan’s room playing some Guitar Hero)

Day Twenty – Switchplate

366 - day twenty

One of Nathan’s friends brought Allison a new switch plate for her light. He thought it was perfect for her (it’s Winnie the Pooh). She insisted on helping install it.

Day Nineteen – Check

366- Day nineteen

When Nathan’s friend comes for a sleepover, the boardgames come out. Tonight they picked chess.
