Some friends invited me to go along with them to a concert at Billy Bob’s in Ft Worth. I have the sneaking suspicion it was so that I could be the dd.

Since Saturday, we have been spending all of our free time at the baseball park. Our league is hosting one of the state baseball tournaments. So, if you are my mom or dad…. this is why you haven’t heard from us lately. Greg and the kids have been there almost all day everyday. I make my way over after work.
Yesterday as I was turning around to grab something out of the drink box, my hand bumped against it’s doors (I’m always bumping against things. It happens often). This time something went wrong. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a sliver of something flying and just new that the diamond had busted free of its cage. The problem? I was working in one of the concession stands. After a mad dash crawling around on the floor, I found the diamond before it made it under the large drink fridge.
I hardly ever take my ring off. There was a stretch when I was pregnant with Alli and had some weird allergic reaction that caused blisters and when I make meatloaf it comes off, if I remember in time. Being without it is strange. It’s like a little part of me is missing.

I like the vintage quality of this shot. Even though my salon is pretty modern, it looks almost like I am in the 60′s.
