The first quilt I ever made. When I was pregnant with Nathan I decided that I needed to make a quilt for him. I think this is how I nested. Must make baby a quilt!
I really loved the look of the double wedding ring quilts I had seen. Only after starting it did someone tell me it was one of the harder patterns to make. Way to pick an easy one for a first.
This was before I or anyone I knew had a sewing machine (poor college students that we were). I sewed the whole thing by hand.
Holy tolito you little sewer you! I’ll have to send you a picture of my first quilt for some giggles sometime. I made it for Lucas our first Christmas dating. Basic, easy square pattern quilt with friend’s mother’s sewing machine. The problem…uh I have no patience and wanted to finish the thing in two weeks so that it would be ready on time. Goofy.
