2 weeks after we all thought he would make his grand debut and 20 days of active labor labor, my newest nephew has finally graced us with his presence. I hope this isn’t a sign of just how stubborn he is going to be in the years ahead.
We all got the “This is really it, we’re heading to the birthing center” message yesterday morning. Around 3 pm (our time) the next call came in that the bouncing baby boy had been born. I don’t have all of the stats, but I know that he weighed over 9 lbs and is at least 21″ long. (Holy 2 month old baby, Batman!) Mom and baby are all doing well.
