Time for an upgrade.
We caught a hell of a deal on this and felt like they were going to stop us at the door and tell us there was no way they could let us leave the store with this at the price we paid.
As the end of the year approaches, so does the end of Project 366. I have had a pretty good time capturing photos each and every day. Some weren’t so great (in fact, most would fall into this category). There were a few gems thrown in with the rest of the mix.
There are a few hangups about taking a picture every day. One was staying motivated. When there are things going on to keep us busy, this isn’t really a problem. However, when we actually get to slow down for a few days, there are only so many views of things in my house that are picture worthy.
The other was actually posting the pictures after they were taken. Since I gave myself the challenge that each days picture must actually be from that day, it generally meant that I would need to post it that day also. If you can’t tell, towards the end, I sort of slacked on getting them up the very same day. Sometimes it wasn’t possible (power outages or road trips with broken laptops). Sometimes it just seemed like too much of a chore. Like when I had several pictures to look through, edit, and decide which one was special enough to be the picture of the day.
The main drawback to doing this project is that because I am already posting a picture, usually with text about the day, I am not really motivated to write real entries.
So, I’m at a crossroads and have decided to conduct a poll just to see what answers you guys give.
One of the many great things about Christmas desserts is that they make great breakfasts the next day.
This one is our traditional (well, for 3 years now) bread pudding.
Two separate pictures for today with our Christmas Eve traditions.
We always make and decorate sugar cookies for Santa then leave them with either chocolate milk, plain milk, or eggnog.
We have had this book for 11 years. Every Christmas Eve, we start with Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and then we read this as the bedtime story.
