This site is my solution for horrible short-term memory. Most of the time, it’s a place for me to put down the crazy things my kids do. Every once in a while you’ll find blabberings on stuff I just can’t get out of my head.
Originally it was called “From A to Z” because, you know, our kids names are Allison, Nathan, and Zoey. I am clever like that. Then one day, Allison was being incredibly cute and we got a new name for the blog.
Food stuff started as a place where I kept all of the recipes that I use all of the time. A quick place to grab the recipe I like instead of trying to remember which of my cookbooks or websites I found it on. Some are even my very own. Along with these recipes there will be at least one new addition each week with comments on whether or not we all liked it. Like the “Did They Eat It” page over at Suburban Bliss.
366 is a personal project to take and post a picture a day. I noticed a few other people doing it and it sounded like a great experiment. Since I have a couple of decent cameras, there really isn’t any excuse to not have at least one picture a day.
About me:
You wanted to know some about me so here you go. My name is Anna
(which you can see below all of the posts in the authored by field). I’m in my 30’s and starting to realize that I’m not just a kid anymore. Every once in a while it is made abundantly clear to me. I hardly ever cuss. Some people try to assure me it would sound incredibly sexy. I think I would sound like an idiot or a 10 year old boy, trying out a few new words.
I’m married to Greg, who I met in college many years ago. We have 3 beautiful and crazy kiddos; Nathan, Zoey and Allison. Together they manage to keep me laughing or make me want to pull my hair out, depending on the day.
We live in a small town in Texas. We are close enough to Louisiana that when it’s in season there are crawfish stands on the side of the road. When we first moved here my son, who was in kindergarten at the time came home and asked us how to pronounce a letter correctly they were learning, “Mom, is it double-yah, or double you?”.
