Allison was invited by one of her buddies to go to his Vacation Bible School. The church was tiny. I don’t know if you can see it or not, but on the "weekly attendance" board, it shows that 75 were there last Sunday. Tiny, I tell you.
Alli had a fantastic time. Tonight was the last night and the pastors had promised that if they had 100 people in attendance, they would eat a gold fish. The kids were both grossed out and thrilled at the same time. Chants of, "Eat The Fish! Eat The Fish", were followed by a quick, "EEWWWWWWW!". It was terrific.
We started watching these shows after the series was finished only to discover how much we like it.
Sure it probably isn’t the best show for our kids, but Allison absolutely loves it. She thinks those two are hilarious.

Getting ready for the final weekend of softball for the year.

Alli and her friend were just catching some rays on the bench at Zoey’s practice.
I just missed the shot where both of them were laying like Allison.

Someone gave Allison the old used up shell of a donkey pinata. I’m not really sure why.
She has had the greatest time getting into it and pretending to be a donkey. Paper mache may just be the way to go with Halloween costumes this year.

We were all watching something in the living room and for some strange reason everyone decided that they wanted to snuggle up with me. Sure this happens often with the girls, but times are few and far between lately with Nathan. Hopefully just a phase and soon he will let me shower him with affection. (haha)
As soon as Greg appeared with the camera to document this phenomenon, they all decided they didn’t want their picture taken. I resorted to tickle torture for the older two, and Alli was smiling in every other picture but this one.

Lately this is the standard shot I get of Nathan. It’s going to be a surprise to us all when he gets a hair cut, has his braces taken off, and starts to grow facial hair.

She told me that she was cold and a little scared so she was "concentrating really hard on just jumping in already". To really see her face in this one, click on the photo for the larger version.

Nathan’s batting has gotten better throughout the season. He swings at the good pitches and keeps a steady hand when a ball is thrown.

Sure my kid can’t be seen in this picture, but this is his team in their dugout before the game. If they won the game, they would have tied up first place and would have had a playoff game. The final score was 4-3 for the other team.

I am a dork. I set up “The Tonight Show” for a season pass as soon as it was available. I told Greg that it is like all is right with the world now that he’s on late night again. I’ve missed being able to fall asleep during his monologue.
What do you do when you have more than one picture that you like in a day? Post both. Duh.
Allison picked these flowers for me this weekend from our field then was really happy when I found a vase to keep them.

The night was getting later and I realized that if I didn’t take a picture soon, I would blow it on the second day in.

Fortunately I have excellent subject matter to work with.
